Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of WHAT IF, a product operated by Juno Design, Inc.

Effective date: August 4, 2026

1. Who We Are

WHAT IF is operated by Juno Design, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Juno Design", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using WHAT IF, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility And Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use WHAT IF. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

You are responsible for your account, your login credentials, and activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.

3. The Service

WHAT IF provides AI-assisted creation, editing, storage, previewing, and publishing workflows for interactive web projects and related content. The Service currently includes account sign-in, canvas and repo storage, AI model calls, optional GitHub connection, an optional inbound email address for sending requests to the Service by mail, preview URLs, and deployment URLs.

We may add, remove, suspend, or change features at any time. Some features may depend on third-party services or may not be available in all locations or at all times.

4. User Content And License

You retain ownership of the prompts, files, notes, images, repository content, URLs, and other content you submit to WHAT IF ("User Content").

You grant Juno Design a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify solely for technical formatting, transmit, display, and otherwise process your User Content as needed to operate, secure, maintain, and provide the Service to you.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit User Content and to authorize us to process it under these Terms.

5. AI Features

WHAT IF may send prompts, files, images, URLs, and related context to third-party AI providers in order to generate outputs or otherwise provide AI features. AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, unsafe, or infringing, and you are responsible for reviewing and validating any output before relying on or publishing it.

You may not use the Service or AI outputs in violation of law, third-party rights, or these Terms.

6. Public Previews And Publishing

WHAT IF supports preview and deployment URLs, including SHA-based preview links and named deployment URLs. Those URLs are intended to be publicly accessible to anyone who has the URL. Do not use them to expose secrets, private credentials, or other confidential information.

WHAT IF also lets you make your canvas (your "space") available as a public, read-only view through a share link. When you enable sharing, anyone with the link can view the contents of that space — including notes, images, links, and other items it contains — without signing in. Sharing is off by default and applies only to a space you choose to share. Do not expose secrets, credentials, personal data, or other confidential information through a shared space.

You are solely responsible for the content you publish, host, share, or make available through WHAT IF. We may remove or disable content, domains, or access if we believe it violates these Terms, the law, or creates risk for users, third parties, or the Service.

7. Acceptable Use

You may not use WHAT IF to:

  • violate law or the rights of others;
  • create, store, publish, or distribute unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, harmful, or abusive content;
  • interfere with the security, availability, or integrity of the Service;
  • attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, models, or data;
  • use the Service to distribute malware, phishing pages, spam, or other harmful material;
  • use the Service in a way that infringes intellectual property, publicity, privacy, or other proprietary rights.

8. GitHub And Other Third-Party Services

Some features rely on third-party services, including Supabase, GitHub, Stripe, and third-party AI providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

If you connect GitHub, you authorize WHAT IF to use the permissions you grant for the limited purpose of connecting, syncing, and pushing your repositories as described in the product.

9. Subscriptions, Credits, Payments, And Refunds

The Service offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each billing cycle until you cancel. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand.

Paid plans include a fixed amount of AI usage credits each billing cycle. Included credits reset at the start of each cycle and do not roll over. Unused included credits have no cash value and expire at the end of the billing period.

You may also purchase additional credit packs at any time. Purchased credits are added to your account balance, do not expire, and are consumed only after your included credits are used up.

Pro subscribers have access to unlimited custom domains and other features included in their plan.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for the remaining time in a billing cycle. Upon cancellation, your account reverts to the free plan and any subscription-only features or limits will adjust accordingly.

Credits, whether included or purchased, have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are not a bank account, stored-value account, or deposit account. Except where required by law, purchased credits are non-refundable.

We may change pricing, plans, credit amounts, or how credits are consumed at any time. Changes will apply prospectively unless otherwise stated.

10. Suspension And Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk or possible legal exposure for us or others, fail to pay amounts due, or if we decide to change or discontinue the Service.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately, but sections that by their nature should survive will survive, including ownership, payment, disclaimer, limitation of liability, indemnity, and dispute-related sections.

11. Disclaimer Of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JUNO DESIGN DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that content will be preserved without loss.

12. Limitation Of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JUNO DESIGN AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.

13. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold harmless Juno Design and its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, and service providers from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.

15. Changes To These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice by posting the updated Terms in the Service, updating the effective date, or using another reasonable method. Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
